There's nothing that spells instant death for me quite like bad B.O. (otherwise known as "body odor").
Fart smell--funny.
Vomit smell--extremely gross but forgiven as it's usually a product of illness or too much liquor (in which case, doesn't smell TOO bad).
Poop smell--human poop is pretty nasty... but still kinda funny.
Feet--also pretty nasty, but since I'm pretty tall, I don't experience this too often.
B.O.--I will gladly go to Heaven now, thank you.
So of course... being that I am SO adverse to B.O. I have the good fortune of encountering it quite often. I don't actually know if this most recent encounter was #587, I just assume so because every boy in my jr. high school class had B.O.--in fact, I'm pretty sure some of the girls did too...
I had just encountered someone right before #587, but it wasn't as bad and it was funnier because Kev was there too sharing in my misery. But seriously, #587 almost made me faint--take note: not from swooning... just from lack of oxygen or shock or something. I took the elevator at work for the 3rd (and now, LAST) time ever. Polo shirt, khakis, loafers, and the worst B.O. I could ever assume humans could have. The ride from the third floor to the lobby felt like ages! ONLY THREE FLOORS!?! Smelly score: 9.5--not a 10 because he said "Have a nice night," when I
Now, I totally understand smelliness. I too am often stinky. And I'm sure others have fainted from my presence--either swooning or otherwise (joke). Smelliness can be funny! I have no problem with smelly people themselves. It's their smell I don't like. This might just be one of those times where Jesus would lovingly remind me: "Whitney, hate the smell, not the smelly person."

hi Whit! I just realized that you switched over to blogger and I forgot to bookmark this page. :)
and on the topic of B.O...I used to have a guy friend in TKD who had terrible BO, and I would never want to be near him during class b/c I wanted to gag =P
DUDE. I totally empathize with you on this one. At least you worked in civilized workplaces. I have to meet carpet cleaners everyday, and MANNNN do they smell! It's a mixture of really bad BO, not showering for several days, and being in the dirtiest grossest homes and sucking up all that grossness into their trucks. No matter how strong the AC is, the smell just whiffs over and almost knocks me over. I think I meet approximately 20 very smelly people everyday.
I, too, find stinky smells funny. But I really don't like that gross...human smell. *BLARGH*
